A reputable pet insurance that has taken care of many of our clients:
1-866-GOPETPLAN (1-866-467-3875) - 30+ years, 1 million+ policies world-wide, exclusive provider to the Humane Society of the United States, actually covers hereditary conditions (be sure to ask about your pet) and has no-limit lifetime coverages!
A well known credit company that has helped many of our clients get their pets the care they need:
1-800-677-0718 - It's a veterinary/medical credit card with various low or zero percent interest financing and has no up-front costs, no pre-payment penalties and no annual fees. To have this particular credit card available to you, we at Burl-Moor-Driben Animal Hospital pay more, so that you can pay less.
Save on your own:
...or find out what the premiums cost for the insurance that you like the best (or you can make up your own number) and regularly deposit that amount into your own bank account, so if/when you need those funds they are there, but if you don't need them you have your own little emergency slush fund. Hint: Since I didn't have the discipline to do this on my own, I finally set up an automatic withdrawal of a small amount from one account to another that can be accessed at any time and even earns a small amount of interest. It was free to do and so much easier than I even imagined (it took me less than 10 minutes). Ask your bank for details.
